I love creating 40-Day Reading Plans. I feel that 40 days are within anyone’s reach. Today’s plan is for the Gospel of John. This is the fourth gospel in chronological order and also the fourth one written. By trying to keep these reading plans to only a few minutes a day, you will be able to find time each day to do the reading. Have you used any of our other reading plans? Gospel of John
The gospel of John is deep. It is rich in symbolism and theology. Did you know that it is the last gospel actually written? It is the book of the seven signs and the seven “I AM”. I’m actually going thru this gospel for the second time during my Bible in a Year reading plan. In this bible study reading plan, the gospel of John has been divided to be read in 40 days.

How To Use the Reading Plan
Below is the actual plan. Each day will require a few minutes for reading Scripture, reflection, and prayer. I try to keep these reading schedules to no more than 10 minutes of reading a day so that it easily fits into your daily routine. I would recommend you start with a short prayer asking the Holy Spirit to guide your reading. Then I would read the assigned reading for the day. Reflection afterward can be done mentally or by journaling.

Who am I in this reading? Pharisee? A disciple? A person in the crowd?
